Chalet Dionée is the type of chalet that you'll want to come back to again and again. It is a posh chalet with lovely furnishings, tastefully designed en suite bathrooms and a sauna with quick access to the terrace - with perfect roll-in-the-snow potential!
The chalet is situated in the pretty wooded village of Plagne 1800 and is a short walk away from the village centre where there are a couple of shops, a few restaurants and the La Mine pub. You can ski to within 50m of the chalet (in really good conditions you can ski all the way to the front door). We offer beginner skiers a lift up to the nursery slopes in Plagne Centre where you can also leave your hire equipment in a friendly ski shop.
Chalet Dionée's four bedrooms, all upstairs, have beautiful en suites with sink and shower (one has an en suite bath too). All but the bunk room have relaxing massage showers. Three of the bedrooms are twins and one is a double; and two are inter-connecting, making a perfect family room. There is a further bathroom & WC downstairs.
The bright and spacious living area has loads of comfy seating, a chimney log fire and a balcony with a beautiful view of the ski area and the valley beyond. There are books, a flat screen TV with DVDs (including plenty for the kids) and games to keep you entertained. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the chalet. |

Catering: | ::back to top | | Excellent, delicious, homemade food is served for the duration of your stay.
Breakfast:
Served between 8am & 9am (unless you arrange otherwise with your hosts), breakfast consists of a selection of cereals & yoghurts; fresh French bread with jams and all the usual spreads; hot option eg. bacon roll, or pancakes with maple syrup; porridge if requested; fruit juices and plenty of tea & coffee.
Afternoon Tea:
Cakes will be freshly baked every day and laid out for your return from the slopes.
Dinner:
The three-course evening meals are delicious and nutritious and are accompanied by carefully selected bottled wines.
On the first and last nights of your holiday pre-dinner canapés and aperitifs are served.
One evening a cheeseboard is served with a variety of tasty local cheeses.
Children's Dinner:
Kids' tea is served at 6pm. It is up to you if your children eat kids' or adults' dinner; we'll arrange it in advance with you to help us plan.
We know how important it is for your children to eat well when they’re skiing so we will take advice from you on their likes & dislikes. Because all our food is made from scratch we can even blend and hide vegetables if you need us to!

You are welcome to help yourself to tea & coffee at any time of day.
There is an honesty fridge that is stocked with beers, soft drinks & snacks for you.
Breakfast hot option and dinner is not served on chalet hosts' 1 day off; your hosts will of course leave out breakfast and afternoon tea for you and can recommend and book a restaurant for you. |
