A popular resort with families, the Christina sits right next to the slopes, directly opposite the lifts and about 150 metres from the ski school meeting point. You can ski out and ski home again so you won't really need to pack your shoes!
Large, welcoming and with a wonderfully laid back atmosphere, everyone is greeted with a smile. The layout in the communal areas is open plan and spacious, making it a great place to socialise.
The first floor sun terrace opens off the hotel bar and is ideal for catching some late afternoon sun. If the children want to play in the snow, you can keep an eye on them from here without missing your pre-dinner drinks. Downstairs is 'Scotty's bar'. It's lively, sociable and open to the public.
Surrounded by mountains on three sides, the dining room is bright and bursting with character. The public lounge and bar are spread over two floors so there's plenty of room to put your feet up. |
Accommodation: | All the bedrooms are thoughtfully furnished and some are interconnecting. It's easy to add an extra bed or cot if you need to. All rooms have recently refurbished ensuite bathrooms. |

Catering: | ::back to top | | The chefs in this chalethotel are all professionally trained. Where possible, ingredients are locally sourced to ensure the freshest food, and we incorporate local specialties into the menu.
Breakfast:
Start the day with a choice of cooked breakfast, cereals, yoghurt, fruit, local breads and pastries, preserves and honey. Plentiful fruit juices, teas, coffees or hot chocolate are available.
Afternoon Tea:
Return to a selection of freshly baked cakes, biscuits, bread, jams and honey. If you'd prefer, there's also a warming soup, along with a choice of teas, coffee and hot chocolate.
Dinner:
Each evening you will be served a three-course dinner offering a range of meat, fish and vegetarian options. On two evenings, including arrival night, a buffet is served. Otherwise the daily menu offers a choice of three starters and three main courses and a selection of desserts or local cheeses.
On Thursday nights the chefs and chalet staff have a night off giving guests the opportunity to sample the local restaurants. The staff will be happy to book a table and arrange transport for you. Breakfast and afternoon tea are served as usual on this day.
Complimentary wine:
To accompany your meal there's a choice of carefully selected red and white wines. These are complimentary and are available throughout dinner until coffee is served.
Sociable bars:
For that well-earned pre or post-dinner drink, the chalethotel has a bar featuring happy hours and a cocktail of the day. Simply charge drinks to your room and settle the bill at the end of your stay. |
